Giovanni aka Kroppslotion è originario di una bellissima isola del Mediterraneo anche se molti, spesso, credono sia straniero per via di pelle e capelli chiari. Si laurea in Lingue per la Mediazione Linguistica nell’estate del 2009, tuttavia inizia ad amare la fotografia dalla prima volta che strinse tra le proprie manine una Polaroid. Per questo la fotografia è parte di lui. Da provetto traduttore, cerca di interpretarla. Non gli piacciono le foto senza senso e non crede nemmeno che possano esistere. Ogni foto dovrebbe raccontare una storia perché è frutto delle nostre scelte, dei nostri codici e della nostra cultura, che ci piaccia o meno.

From the first time I saw Kroppslotion’s work I was intrigued and attracted by it.
His simple way to morph his characters bring us some kind of clarity in today’s creative world where everything pulls to complicated compositions and to overrated special effects. There’s something pure and innocent and at the same time a little wicked about his pictures; it’s kind of the magic (good and evil) that we encounter in “The wizard of Oz”.
Always excited to see what he has to show; always so intriguing and wonderful.
Love his work! Once I got a glimpse of his work I was hooked. Very creative and inspirational artist. Keep them coming!
